Hammerite Brush Cleaner and Thinners are great for not only cleaning brushes and equipment but for removing dirt, grime, salt and loose rust from metal surfaces.

Brush Cleaners and Thinners can be used for rinsing used brushes in or it can be used to thin paint so it can be used in a spray gun.

Because Hammerite Paints have a unique formulation it is ideal to clean brushes and equipment with Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners.

Hammerite Thinner and Cleaner is ideal for use with Hammerite Metal Paints such as Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint Smooth Finish, Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint Satin Finish and Hammerite Direct To Rust Metal Paint Hammered Finish.

How to clean brushes:

Brush out excess paint
Pour contents into a metal container and rinse brushes and equipment thoroughly
To keep brushes soft, finally wash in detergent

How to thin paint for spraying:

To thin paint for spraying with conventional spray equipment: Use 2 part of Hammerite Metal Paint to 1 part Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners
Set spray gun to between 25/35psi (approximately 2 bar)
Adjust spray to full fan width. Shake spray gun before and during use to ensure an even colour

Storage

Protect from extremes of temperature and sources of ignition.

Disposal

Do not empty into drains or watercourses.
