Preparation:
Surfaces must be clean and previous coatings should be removed with Rustin’s Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.
It is advisable to clean old surfaces with White Spirit to remove any wax or contamination, wipe away the solution formed with clean kitchen paper towels.
Bare wood may be dyed with either Rustin’s Wood Dye before varnishing (see Compatibility section below).
Application:
Synthetic brush, Varnish Roller or Spray (can be diluted with water about 10% if necessary for spraying, or if the temperature is high).
Coats:
Three coats are recommended, but as each extra coat will make the colour deeper, if the colour is satisfactory after one or two coats, apply one or more coats of Rustins Clear Acrylic Varnish.
Cleaning
With water whilst wet. If dried-on, clean equipment and brushes with either Rustin’s Brush Restorer or Rustin’s Strypit Paint & Varnish Remover.
Storage
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
Disposal
